Client Coordinator – Medical Imaging or Sleep Disorders Services

The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is Australia’s national accreditation body which provides independent assurance of the technical competence and integrity of organisations for clients who require confidence in the delivery of their products and services.

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Client Coordinator in our Melbourne office.

About the role

Client Coordinators work with a team of professional people engaged in assessment of the competence of facilities offering services in Medical Imaging and Sleep Disorders Services. You will initially be trained in predominantly one of these activities and then be cross trained into other areas of accreditation.

You will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding accreditation criteria, organising and leading assessment teams. You will be conducting on-site assessments at laboratories with the support of technical experts. Duties also include the preparation of technical reports, follow-up of matters arising from assessments and provision of advice to technical experts, clients and the public on NATA’s policies and technical requirements.

This role will require the need to work outside standard office hours within the Sleep Disorders Services area. Due to the nature of the program you will be required to attend assessments during the evening. Additional information will be provided during the interview stage.

Intrastate and interstate travel will be necessary.

Skills and experience

We seek professionals holding a degree in Science or Applied Science, having relevant post graduate professional experience. Experience in either Medical Imaging or Sleep Disorders will be an advantage. To be successful in this role, you will be computer literate, self-motivated, well organised and a logical thinker, with highly developed interpersonal skills, oral and written communications skills. A sound knowledge of the principles of good quality management and the ability to interact with people at a professional level is required. The ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple separate projects, having simultaneous tasks and due dates is essential. Previous auditing and quality management systems experience would be highly desirable, although training will be provided.

Salary and Conditions

The salary on commencement is equivalent to a total remuneration package of $100,977 per annum. NATA operates a superannuation scheme and offers normal conditions of leave and other benefits. Client Coordinator - Calibration

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Client Coordinator in our Melbourne or Sydney office.

About the role

Client Coordinators work with a team of professional people engaged in assessment of calibration laboratories against criteria based on ISO/IEC 17025. You will initially be trained predominantly in the assessment of calibration laboratories, with the future possibility to be cross trained into other areas.

You will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding accreditation criteria, organising and leading assessment teams. You will be conducting on-site assessments at client facilities with the support of technical experts. Duties also include the preparation of technical reports, follow-up of matters arising from assessments and provision of advice to technical experts, clients and the public on NATA’s policies and technical requirements.

Intrastate and interstate travel will be necessary.

Skills and experience

We seek professionals holding a degree in Engineering, Science, Applied Science or a technology-related discipline, having relevant post graduate professional experience. In addition, you will possess 3 years practical experience in a engineering or calibration environment with additional knowledge in regards to reference values and materials. To be successful in this role, you will be computer literate, self-motivated, well organised and a logical thinker, with highly developed interpersonal skills, oral and written communications skills. A sound knowledge of the principles of quality management and the ability to interact with people at a professional level is required. The ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple separate projects, having simultaneous tasks and due dates is essential. Previous auditing experience would be highly desirable, although training will be provided.
