ISO/IEC 17025: Testing and Calibration

Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 plays an important role in supporting  accurate and reliable results from laboratory testing, calibration, sampling and measurement services across many industries.

ISO 15189: Human Pathology

Accreditation to ISO 15189 underpins confidence in the quality of pathology testing results .

Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS)

DIAS accreditation through NATA offers many advantages, including the support of a world recognised accreditation body with extensive experience in the Australian healthcare industry.

ISO/IEC 17020: Inspection

Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020 specifies the requirements for competent bodies performing inspection.

ISO/IEC 17043:  Proficiency Testing Scheme Providers

Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043 demonstrates a proven competence in the planning, development and provision of proficiency testing schemes.

ISO 17034:  Reference Materials Producers

Accreditation to ISO 17034 specifies the requirements for Reference Materials Producers. 

ISO 20387: General requirements for Biobanking

Accreditation to ISO 20387 specifies the requirements for biobanks to demonstrate their competence in being able to provide biological material and associated data that supports the needs of research and development activities.

Sleep Disorders Services

Accreditation to the ASA (Australasian Sleep Association) Sleep Disorders Services Standard covers both managerial and technical requirements and includes the principles from the international standard ISO 15189 Medical laboratories – Requirements for quality and competence.

Medical Imaging accreditation 

Medical Imaging accreditation allows clinical radiology practices to demonstrate technical competence in all modalities offered.

OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) 

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) are applicable to non-clinical studies and promote the quality and validity of test data used for determining the safety of chemicals and chemicals products submitted to regulatory authorities for approval.

Proficiency testing (PT) and CRM databases

These publications are protected by copyright under the Commonwealth of Australia Copyright Act 1968.

The EPTIS database provides a comprehensive listing of PT providers, including their accreditation status and the PT schemes they offer.

The COMAR database provides a listing certified reference materials (CRMs).
