What is NATA Excellence Award?

The NATA Excellence Award acknowledges organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the quality and reliability of accredited processes. The award recognises innovations that have led to significantly improved technical capabilities, enhanced operational efficiencies, and set new standards of excellence The award showcases initiatives that have and will continue to create a lasting and positive impact – benefiting industries, the scientific and technical landscape and communities across Australia. The NATA Excellence Award celebrates NATA Member organisations that are shaping the future and inspiring progress across the nation.

Category 1

Quality and Reliability Enhancements

CRITERIA:

Significant Contributions to Accreditation: Recognising significant contributions that enhance the quality and reliability of accredited processes and services. 

Innovative Practices in Accreditation: Emphasising innovative approaches that surpass traditional practices. 

Continuous Improvement Culture: Demonstrating a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement in technical infrastructure and accredited processes.

Strengthened Capabilities:
Highlighting strengthened capabilities with improvements in precision, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.

Efficiency Improvements:
Demonstrating initiatives that increase efficiency and effectiveness in accredited activities.

  • Finalists will be notified and announced by May 22, 2026
  • The Award will be presented at the Accreditation Matters Celebration Dinner on July 7, 2026, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)
  • The Winner will receive a $3,000 cash prize 
  • Promotional Campaign
