NATA announces the winner of the inaugural 2024 NATA Excellence Award
The NATA Excellence Award acknowledges Member organisations that have demonstrated exceptional technical infrastructure and innovation achievements with a focus on enhancing the quality and reliability of accredited processes and services.
Winner: Eurofins Environment Testing Australia Pty Ltd
Finalist: Pathology Queensland, Central Laboratory
Finalist: Australian Federal Police (AFP) Forensics Command
Representatives from these organisations attended the Accreditation Matters 2024 conference, where the award was announced at the NATA Celebration Dinner on Tuesday, June 25.
Our thanks to the many members who took the time and effort to submit applications for this award. The high quality of submissions shows the outstanding level of performance and innovation within Australia’s accredited laboratory infrastructure and the valuable contribution it makes to our Nation.

Our judges – both NATA and external accreditation subject matter experts, objectively and impartially assessed all nominations and made a collective decision on the award winner.
