Andatech secures NATA breathalyser accreditation for their Melbourne calibration centre
Andatech’s Melbourne calibration centre has become one of the 11 laboratories throughout Australia to obtain NATA accreditation in breathalyser calibration.
To obtain this NATA accreditation, Andatech’s Melbourne calibration centre was assessed based on the ISO/IEC 17025 standard that ensures traceability, comparability and validity of breathalyser calibration outcomes.
This has ensured the centre has the capability of measuring breath alcohol readings and conducting calibrations with high accuracies of ±0.0025g/210L for readings between 0.000g/210L and 0.050g/210L, and ±0.0036g/210L for readings between 0.050g/210L and 0.100g/210L.
“Aside from our breathalysers compliant with AS 3547, having a calibration centre accredited by NATA further strengthens our positioning to become one of the best alcohol and drug testing solutions provider in Australia,” said Irwandy, founder of Andatech. “Quality products and quality services should go hand in hand.”
Andatech‘s goal is to help companies create and maintain a safe working environment for workers by providing accredited alcohol and drug testing solutions.
The NATA accreditation is a recognition of their efforts in ensuring that companies in Australia have reliable and accurate devices to efficiently implement their alcohol and drug testing policies.
