The National Measurement Institute (NMI) is accepting applications for its 2025 NMI Measurement Awards.
The awards recognise groundbreaking achievements in the field of measurement science, and are open to all levels – from early career professionals through to established researchers.
This year’s awards include:
- The Barry Inglis Medal, named in honour of NMI’s first CEO, for sustained contributions to Australian measurement science and infrastructure.
- The Measurement Impact Award for measurement-related achievements with real-world impact.
- The Measurement Achievement Encouragement Award for measurement-related achievements for early to mid-career professionals.
- The People’s Choice Award, which allows the general public to choose their favorite nominee during the National Science Week event.
If you are keen to shine a spotlight on your own contribution in measurement science, or nominate the remarkable achievements of someone else, then apply before applications close at 5pm AEST on 20 May.
