The Australian Technical Infrastructure Alliance (ATIA) is working to provide government, industry and the wider community with information resources to facilitate the supply of safe and fit-for-purpose PPE in the fight against COVID-19.

The ATIA provides a single point of access to the combined capability, expertise and resources of the four core bodies responsible for Australia’s Standards and Conformance:

Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ)
National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA)
National Measurement Institute (NMI)
Standards Australia (SA)

The ATIA with support from the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources has produced a summary of PPE requirements, Australian Standards and the current status of conformity assessment infrastructure.

This information which is updated weekly is hosted on the Standards Australia website.
