The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is inviting NATA’s Members and Technical Assessors to provide feedback on the Draft Standards of Practice for Clinical Radiology.

They have noted that the Safety, Quality and Standards Committee (SQSC) and modality-based reference groups, on behalf of the Faculty of Clinical Radiology Council, provided an independent and unbiased review of the existing version 11.2 of the Standards of Practice for Clinical Radiology in preparation for the release of version 12.0.

RANZCR also notes that this is a lengthy document and not all Modality standards may be relevant to all stakeholders.

They have requested that your feedback on the General standards and only Modality standards that are relevant would be appreciated.

 RANZCR would like you to:

  • indicate whether or not you agree with each of the draft standards; and
  • provide any comments, including recommended wording of any modifications.

The consultation will close on 24 May 2023.

Please visit the RANZCR website to review the draft standards and to provide feedback:

If you have any comments or queries, please contact Standards and Quality directly.

Otherwise, please contact Tracy Fleming, Deputy Sector Manager, Imaging Technical at NATA.
