In August 1995, METTLER TOLEDO (MT) set its sights on raising the standard by pursuing NATA accreditation to deliver precision instrumentation and calibration services backed by full measurement uncertainty. By June 1996, that ambition became reality, with MT achieving full NATA accreditation.
Thirty years on, that commitment has evolved into a powerful, accreditation-driven service offering. From microbalances to heavy industrial systems, MT delivers Accuracy Calibration Certificates aligned with EURAMET CG-18. Its Good Weighing Practice (GWP) assessments go further analysing real-world applications, operating conditions, and requirements to recommend the right solution, every time. Complementing this is a suite of internationally recognised pharmaceutical certificates, supporting customers to meet stringent global regulatory demands.
Since accreditation, MT has delivered more than 100,000 NATA-backed calibrations across Australia strengthening trust in measurement for organisations across diverse industries.
Accreditation remains the foundation of this impact ensuring accuracy, consistency, and technical excellence. Through NATA’s Mutual Recognition Arrangement, MT’s customers benefit from globally accepted results, reducing duplication, saving time, and streamlining operations across international markets.
As METTLER TOLEDO celebrates 30 years with NATA, its focus remains clear: delivering precision, enabling confidence, and creating real-world impact through trusted, high-quality solutions.
