From its Hobart laboratory, accredited since 1976, QUALTECH has grown into a leading force in construction materials testing. Specialising in soils, aggregates, pavements and concrete, the team supports a wide range of civil, industrial and building projects. Beyond the laboratory, its mobile capabilities bring expertise directly to site delivering accurate testing, responsive advice and tailored solutions in remote or time-critical environments.
At the core of this success is accreditation. NATA recognition provides independent assurance that QUALTECH’s people, systems and processes consistently meet rigorous national and international standards giving clients and regulators confidence in every result. This trust has enabled QUALTECH to play a key role in major infrastructure projects across the state, where quality, compliance and accountability are critical.
Since becoming part of Hazell Bros in 2007, QUALTECH has expanded to four NATA-accredited laboratories strengthening its capability, reach and impact.
