The Civil Engineering Testing Association of New Zealand (CETANZ) improves the standard and visibility of civil testing, enhancing its local industry and promoting the benefits of high-quality testing to all members.
They assist members in the development of proficiency testing programs and represent their views to relevant national technical infrastructure bodies such as regulators, standards writers, accreditation, and certification organisations.
At their recent conference, the need for Australia to develop such an organisation in this industry as a collective voice/body became clear.
Using established models, a sustainable association could be created to represent the civil engineering testing field for both the in-situ and laboratory testing industry in Australia.
In line with NATA’s commitment to testing excellence and continuous improvement, this prospective association are inviting all civil engineering testing facilities and industry professionals to have their say regarding an Australia-wide association via a short survey
