It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Graham Smith, Managing Director of Abstec Calibrations, who passed away suddenly on Thursday 14 May.
Graham was a highly respected leader within the calibration industry and a longstanding supporter of NATA. Over the last 20 years, he made a significant contribution as a Technical Assessor, a several time member of NATA’s Calibration Accreditation Advisory Committee, and a strong and enthusiastic (NATA) Membership Representative. His dedication, professionalism, and generosity has had a lasting impact across our community.
Graham will be remembered for his depth of knowledge, practical expertise, and his warm, approachable nature, along with the humour and camaraderie he brought to those he worked with. He will be greatly missed by colleagues and peers across the industry.
