NATA would like to acknowledge the passing of a highly valued staff member – Vinod Reddy – and offer our sincere condolences to his family.
Vinod started with NATA in 2006 and worked in the mechanical testing and non-destructive testing areas (now MAP).
Highly regarded across the NATA and Member network for his professionalism and work ethic, Vinod was a Lead Accreditation Specialist and conducted a remarkable 800+ onsite assessments and desktop activities in the areas of Mechanical Testing and Non-Destructive Testing.
On assessment, Vinod always showed courtesy and respect, consistently receiving positive feedback from Members and always conducted himself knowledgeably and professionally.
Additionally, he represented NATA at the Australian Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (NSW meetings), and on four Standards Australia committees.
A thoughtful, considered professional, his approach to work was much appreciated particularly in challenging situations.
During his illness, Vinod often spoke of returning to NATA and we will indeed miss his presence.
