Draintech Solutions, a Sydney-based company specialising in the field of drain rehabilitation, recently achieved NATA accreditation for inspection of underground conduits.
Since its founding in 1992 as a small family-owned drain cleaning business, Draintech Solutions has grown into a nationwide company that offers solutions and equipment across civil infrastructure, government rail and road projects, as well as the gas and mining sectors. Their work includes CCTV inspection and reporting, pipeline rehabilitation, UV drain relining, sectional repair, robotic cutting, UHP (Ultra-High Pressure) robotics and drain cleaning.
This is not the first time Draintech Solutions commenced the process of NATA accreditation. It initially tried to get accredited in 2019, but the process stalled with the advent of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Draintech Solutions discussed NATA accreditation again a year later in 2020 as part of its business development plan, with a view to engaging with Sydney Water as Field Testers.
Fast forward to 2024 and Draintech Solutions wanted to formally recognise its skills and expertise. Accreditation was seen as an important step for doing this, so the company refocussed its efforts to make its accreditation a priority and worked consistently to this end.
Now that is has realised this goal, Draintech Solutions found that the accreditation process was not arduous for its team and processes. Since it was working to a quality system already, what the accreditation did was confirm the company was on track with its systems and is now formally recognised.
Accreditation also became a way of critically evaluating the things it does and the way it does them to identify opportunities to improve. This can then be of added benefit to its business and clients.
Now NATA accredited, Draintech Solutions expects that the recognition that comes with it means that its clients can be confident that they are working with a company that prioritises quality in its practices.
We welcome Draintech Solutions as a new NATA member and look forward to its continued contribution in drain rehabilitation.
