Brett Hyland, NATA’s Stakeholder Engagement Manager and United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) Project Lead, recently published the paper “Verifiable and Traceable Product Conformity Data” in the International Journal for Conformity Assessment.
The focus of this paper is on innovative efforts by UN/CEFACT to improve how conformity assessment data is captured in digital supply chains.
The paper discusses the challenge of ensuring that this data is verifiable and traceable, while remaining independent of proprietary systems or specific platforms.
You can read the paper here.
Attention is drawn to the UN/CEFACT Specification for Digital Product Conformity Data Exchange, a new framework that promotes transparency and efficiency in global trade. This is available for free download here.
