NATA was invited to provide dedicated training to APAC Members and APAC Evaluators in Vietnam hosted by their Accreditation Office for Standards Conformity Assessment Capacity (AOSC).
The training held on 5 and 6 October covered assessment techniques used in accreditation assessments and APAC evaluations; and explored the concept and practical implementation of the ‘risk-based approach’ to accreditation assessment and APAC evaluation planning.
NATA’s Technical Manager, Danielle Dicker and Sector Manager, Calibration, Paul McMullen, provided key insights on how accreditation techniques and risk-based approaches are used in accreditation body practice.
Attendees were APAC Members including assessors, managers, accreditation and scheme developers, as well as APAC Evaluators. Participants shared their own experiences as many were already familiar with undertaking accreditation assessments and establishing and maintaining accreditation body management systems.
A highly productive outing for all concerned!
