Australian Government Survey: Meeting Present and Future Skills Needs
NATA team

The Australian Government is seeking targeted, evidence‑based insights into the recruitment challenges faced by employers, with particular emphasis on occupations experiencing sustained workforce shortages and critical skills deficits across the Australian labour market.

Survey responses will help inform government decision‑making and strengthen the case for targeted financial investment in workforce development. Survey responses will also support advocacy for increased funding for education, training, and upskilling of laboratory personnel, enhancing workforce capability, supporting regulatory compliance, and reinforcing quality and accreditation outcomes across Australia’s laboratory sector.
