Having COVID restrictions in place was particularly challenging for the assessment process, but lockdown meant that the usual on-site advisory visit was replaced with a virtual Microsoft Teams meeting. The advisory visit identified no issues and an application was lodged.
With COVID-related travel restrictions changing all the time, an initial assessment was organised and conducted on-site by both Lead and Technical Assessors when the window of opportunity presented itself in July 2021.
Decon Technologies satisfactorily addressed the findings raised in the report, and NATA granted accreditation to them in August 2021.
This has been part of a larger journey for Decon Technologies who were recently added to the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association’s (AMTA) RF Assessor list, broadening the list of offerings to the wider telecommunications community.
