NATA is proud to share the journey of Sepideh Koohestani, a dedicated Accreditation Specialist from NATA and Al Hanoof Al Maamari in representing Australia as part of the Standards Australia 2025 IEC Young Professionals Programme. They will step onto the global stage in New Delhi from 15 to 19 September 2025 and with other emerging leaders, will sculpt the future of electrotechnology through collaboration, vision, and shared purpose.
Sepideh’s path to this moment is quietly extraordinary. Her thoughtful application, encouraged by her Accreditation Team Leader Mark Worrell, spoke of her electrotechnology expertise and her resonance with the vision of international standardisation. It’s a testament to her conviction and to NATA’s commitment to nurture voices that shape tomorrow.
The Standards Australia IEC Young Professionals Programme is much more than a workshop or conference. It’s a confluence of young minds—engineers, innovators, standard-bearers—converging to learn, to lead, to provide fresh perspectives into the global discourse on electrotechnology. This year, two Australians are among those voices, and that is no small matter.
For Australia, it means confident representation amid global standards development. Our insights on electrotechnology, industry, and innovation travel further and resonate deeper. For NATA, Sepideh’s involvement mirrors our relentless pursuit of excellence, our nurturing of leadership, and our ambition to imprint our values on the international stage.
In her own words, Sepideh looks forward to forging connections, deepening her leadership skills, and returning with new knowledge to uplift Australia’s standards development—particularly in electrotechnology sectors. There’s beauty in that cycle: contribute, learn, return, elevate.
Full of pride, we watch her depart confident that the same meticulous approach and creative spirit that animates her work at NATA, will be her companions across continents. We hope her time in New Delhi be rich with insight, connection, and the quiet alchemy of ideas exchanged. And may she, always, carry with her the hopes of NATA and Australia.
Safe travels, Sepideh Koohestani—and shine on.
