NATA is actively engaged in the upcoming Metrology Society of Australasia conference being held the 20-23rd of February in Wellington, New Zealand.
The conference gives attendees the opportunity to gather face-to-face for the first time in 3 years to learn and network with metrologists from National Measurement Institutes, academia and industry. It also provides the opportunity to keep up with all the latest in measurement developments as well as with the latest calibration equipment.
For those not aware, Metrology is the science of measurement and the MSA is an association of professional metrologists, engineers, scientists, technicians and other measurement experts who measure, evaluate, calibrate, research, educate, design, sell, invent and develop measurement technologies.
David Turner, NATA Chair, will provide a key address on Metrology in Mine Safety and how third-party recognition and a peer review process, provides industry peace of mind through quality of work.
