Value-added services such as NATA accreditation can help service providers reduce risk, simplify communication, and deliver better outcomes for their clients.

That’s according to Pipe Tek, a Brisbane-based pipeline testing firm recently featured in Australian Mining Magazine.

Pipe Tek’s Chief Operating Officer, Taddam Farrant, explained that in the pipeline industry, customers increasingly want a partner who can manage the entire integrity cycle of their assets.

“Our clients don’t just want one piece of the puzzle,” Farrant said. “That’s why we’ve built our business around delivering end-to-end solutions from pigging and hydrostatic testing to NATA-accredited reporting and long-term maintenance programs.”

Although Pipe Tek was officially founded in 2015, its roots trace back to 1953, when it operated as Tank Calibrators. This legacy explains why its NATA accreditation dates back to 2011 even before Pipe Tek’s official founding.

“We’re proud of how far we’ve come from a small start-up to a trusted name in pipeline integrity,” Farrant said. “Our success has been built on strong relationships, quality workmanship, and a team that genuinely cares about what we do.”

Looking ahead, Managing Director, Myles Brannelly said the company is focused on growth within the mining and infrastructure sectors, particularly supporting decarbonisation and water reuse projects.
