Oz Geotechnical, a Sydney-based provider of geotechnical engineering and construction material testing services, recently achieved NATA accreditation for a broad range of Australian Standards and TfNSW TS test methods, including compaction, CBR, sieve analysis, moisture content, and more.
When Oz Geotechnical launched in early 2024, the goal was to set a new benchmark for quality in the industry. To that end, the company recognised that accreditation was the gold standard for credibility in its field.
Over the years, many members of the team witnessed the impact of inconsistent practices and poor-quality work in previous roles. That experience became the motivation to do better – to build a company where best practice is not just a box to tick, but a principle that guides daily operations.
Geotechnical’s clients include major contractors, councils and government agencies. Accreditation was seen as a non-negotiable proposition – it was the foundation on which everything at the company would be built on, ensuring its clients receive reliable services. It was a framework that provides consistency, trust, and lasting value to its work.
For the team, accreditation has become a source of pride and a catalyst for continuous improvement. For the broader industry, it will contribute to raising the bar, supporting safer and more successful projects across the greater Sydney region.
NATA welcomes Oz Geotechnical as a new NATA member.
