It’s already been a busy start to the year for our teams.
Earlier this month NATA had the pleasure of hosting colleagues from the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) on their visit to Australia.
SCC’s Elias Rafoul (Vice President, Accreditation Services) and William O’Neill (Manager Business & New Program Development, Accreditation Services) joined myself and NATA team members to discuss and share accreditation practices, areas of new program growth, trade developments and other synergies to enhance the relationship between our organisations.
It’s always great and valuable to hear what other accreditation bodies are doing and to also receive feedback on what NATA is doing and that our accreditation processes are viewed so strongly by our international colleagues.
These interactions are also important as part of our Mutual Recognition Arrangement with ILAC, driving continuous improvement amongst conformity assessment bodies.
In this edition we also highlight new Member and milestone anniversaries, as well as Member and industry stories.
Finally, I want to advise Members that NATA has recently commenced a comprehensive review of its existing accreditation fee structure.
This process aims to simplify our accreditation fee, align them with changes to our accreditation processes and also provide Members, current and future, with increased transparency on how they are calculated.
We will update our Members on the review and its outcomes in due course.
As always, I hope you enjoy this edition of NATA News.
