Role Purpose

The Senior Learning and Development Trainer is responsible for conceptualising, developing and delivery high quality training programs to NATA members, clients and staff to create high impact learning experiences and develop a pipeline of repeat business from external members and clients. This role is for a contract trainer looking for more training days. This is a fee for service role whereby you deliver training services representing NATA. 

Key areas of responsibility include: 

  • Provide high quality, positive and impactful face-to-face and virtual training to NATA members, clients and staff for internal and external courses 
  • Encourage repeat business from external members and clients through developing effective working relationships and understanding client and member needs 
  • Maintain a contemporary approach to training and stay up-to-date with technical requirements 

Essential Profile

Preferred professional experience includes:

  • Tertiary qualification in Training and Education and/or at least 3 years relevant training experience 
  • Relevant technical experience in quality auditing requirements and implementing management systems is desirable 
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to apply Adult Learning principles 
  • A competent presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Flexibility to travel throughout Australia and limited overseas trips to deliver programs
