NATA hosts Korean delegation

In October 2014 NATA hosted a delegation of Korean visitors from the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER). The members of the delegation were in Australia to familiarise themselves with Australian systems of technical accreditation.

The visitors were a mix of senior laboratory management personnel and quality managers from across Korea.

NIER conducts research in a wide range of fields directed at promoting environmental welfare.  The Institute employs nearly 900 people across Korea and currently supports around 400 individual research projects.

Project topics include such areas as safe recycling of waste resources, research on eco-friendly vehicles and green transportation, and research on air pollution reduction.
