We are sad to note that Peter Clarke passed away in mid-November 2022.
Peter significantly influenced Australia’s technical infrastructure over the last 30 years, particularly in the extractive industries.
Peter was a technical assessor for NATA for over 30 years and a member of the NATA Construction Materials Testing Accreditation Advisory committee in the 1990s and 2000s.
His work as the Chairman of Standards Australia Committee- CE-012, Aggregates was recognised in 2009 when he received a Standards Australia Meritorious Contributor award.
He will always be remembered for his calm manner and willingness to assist many in the quarry industry through NATA, Standards Australia and the Cement, Concrete and Aggregates Association.
