NATA’s new assessment approach for accrediting multi-site facilities
NATA team

NATA’s Corporate Accreditation Policy has been reviewed and replaced with a new policy to take effect from January 2023.

This new policy, General Accreditation Criteria: Accreditation of multi-site facilities is available in all NATA Accreditation Criteria (NAC) packages available from the NATA website and Members’ Portal.  The new policy offers additional benefits to our members who maintain, or wish to maintain, a single accreditation covering multiple sites or accreditation programs.

The criteria for eligibility will remain the same as per our Corporate Accreditation policy. Key assessment process changes however will include a sampling approach of the activities to be assessed at each site covered by the single accreditation and the manner in which requests for changes to the scope of accreditation are handled.

A transition process will be adopted for facilities who currently maintain Corporate Accreditation.

The new policy and also the updated NATA Procedures for accreditation will shortly be available from the NATA website and Members Portal.

A video presentation has also been prepared with information on the the benefits, changes, transition arrangements and contact details should you have further queries.
