Course overview

It is a common misconception that technical work only attracts introverted personalities due to its focus on detailed, methodical tasks and limited interaction with the public.

People are diverse with distinct personality types and preferences and particular and predictable ways of expressing themselves.

Understanding different personality preferences has advantages in achieving more effective personal interactions, team dynamics, and leadership. It can also help demystify people’s sometimes perplexing behaviour!

“I’m not anti-social. I’m selectively social. There’s a difference.”

Jenn Granneman, author of ‘The Secret Lives of Introverts’
